Since 1953 the Kulturkreis der deutschen Wirtschaft im BDI e.V. (the Association of Arts and Culture of the German Economy at the Federation of German Industries) has been awarding the annual ARS VIVA prize to artists living in Germany whose works are distinguished by their pioneering potential. Anna-Sophie Berger, Oscar Enberg, Zac Langdon-Pole are this year’s recipients, and ARS VIVA 2018 is an exhibition at Kunstverein München that will later transform and travel to S.M.A.K. in Ghent, Belgium. This is an index of the exhibition’s elements. Each of the following 18 captions includes an image of an exhibited work, its title, year of completion, materials, and dimensions or duration. As such, this index has been compiled as a compass for navigating the exhibition, and later, as a mnemonic device.
